81 students and learners from across Ireland have been shortlisted in the 2024 short film and TikTok mental health competition from Walk in My Shoes (WIMS).
Our Frame of Mind awards use the mediums of short film and TikToks to help advocate positive mental health messages and reduce stigma around mental health difficulties.
To celebrate 10 years of Frame of Mind, we launched an incredible creative challenge and partnered with Screen Ireland, the national agency for the Irish film, television drama, animation, and documentary industry on this year’s competition.
We invited secondary schools, special education schools, Youthreach and Further Education and Training (FET) centres in Ireland to take part. We asked participants to enter in one of three categories: we will be awarding €1,000 to the winner and €500 to the runner-up in each category. And, as an exciting bonus, the winning entries and runners-up in the short film categories will be hosted on Screen Ireland's Shorts Player to be enjoyed by the public and members of Ireland’s creative community!
