Preparing to reboard
As we approach the next stages of our COVID-19 response, especially the the return to school, many children and young people may be experiencing renewed feelings of anxiety.
Dr Colman Noctor, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with St Patrick's Mental Health Services, joined Kathyrn Thomas on RTÉ Radio 1 to discuss ways in which we can support children through these new developments. He explained how fear and anticipation of the unknown can be a driver of these feelings, and gave practical tips on how we can best deal with these as children and young people as they rejoin more of life's usual activities.
